Antique Green and Black Enamel

Vermillian antique green enamel is an exceptionally tough enamel which imparts a luxurious matt finish to all interior and exterior surfaces. Also used on door frames, window frames, burglar bars, security gates, palisade fencing etc. Vermillian quick dry antique green is used on exterior steel surfaces. This tough, durable semi matt coating is ideal for security gates that need to be sprayed or painted to provide a long lasting matt finish.

As enamel, water and air molecules need to be discharged as it is the main cause of rust from spreading. Vermillian Red/ Grey oxide primer is used as a oxide primer prior to application of Antique green enamel. Verust can also be applied to rusted surfaces prior to aplication of Grey Oxide primer to ensure a smooth finish that stop water penetration and rust forming.

The substrate should be treated thoroughly with GALV-ETCH. This product is an environmental friendly pre treatment that removes harmful substances that causes peeling and rusting. Steel surfaces is covered with a galvanizing oil to prevent the substrate from rusting while left outside in humid and raining conditions. GALV-ETCH remove these oils that cause pealing.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

• All surfaces must be clean, firm and dry before painting.
• All surfaces must be treated with GALV-ETCH.
• Before use, the paint should be stirred thoroughly.
• Apply Enamel evenly by brush, roller or spray.
• For spray application, use Thinners.
• Apply one or more coats to achieve complete obliteration.
• Allow 6 hours drying time.
• Sand lightly during coats.
• After use, clean equipment with Recycled Thinners or Lacquer Thinners.
